ROB ZOMBIE Interviewed On 'Nerdist Podcast'

May 10, 2010

Rob Zombie was interviewed on a recent episode of the Nerdist Podcast with Chris Hardwick. You can now stream the podcast using the audio player below.

ROB ZOMBIE is currently on the road with ALICE COOPER as part of the soon-to-become-legendary Gruesome Twosome Tour!

Hitting the road with new drummer Joey Jordison (SLIPKNOT) in tow, Zombie is offering video updates from the road.

Following the dates with Cooper, Zombie will co-headline the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Tour with KORN, beginning on July 10 in Devore, California.

Rob Zombie recently told Noisecreep that he doesn't like to play more than a handful of new songs live, saying, "You can only play so many — three, four songs tops off a new record because the more time that goes by, the more songs you have that people expect to hear. Nothing's worse than when I've gone to see bands and they're like, 'We're going to play our entire new album from start to finish!' (You're like) 'Terrific. Thanks, douchebags.'"

In fact, Zombie says there's songs on his new "Hellbilly Deluxe 2" album that fans will probably never hear live: "We'll never play 'The Man Who Laughs' live, ever. We'll never play 'Burn', ever . . . I don't like that song that much."

Zombie played two cuts from the new album, "What?" and "Sick Bubblegum" on his fall 2009 tour.
